The GP5500E features a convenient electric start with an included battery for easy operation. Its COsense automatic carbon monoxide shutdown system adds an important layer of protection, while the low-oil shutdown system helps protect the engine from damage.

Powered by a 289cc Generac OHV EFI engine, the generator uses a 5.4-gallon steel fuel tank to provide up to 10.5 hours of runtime at 50% load. An integrated fuel gauge, voltage meter, and hour meter make it easy to monitor generator operation.
