The Next Gen Generac 10kW Home Standby Generator (Model 7257) provides reliable automatic backup power for residential applications, delivering 10kW on liquid propane and 9kW on natural gas.
Powered by a Generac G-Force 800 Series 459cc OHV engine, the 7257 features an air-cooled design, 3,600 RPM operation, a cast iron sleeve, and automatic starting for dependable standby power. Its 120/240-volt single-phase output is designed to work with a compatible automatic transfer switch.
The Next Gen platform features an all-aluminum sound-attenuating sloped-roof enclosure, rear air intake, Electronic Fuel & Ignition Control, oil level sensing, and fuel pressure sensing. The generator also features a 200-hour oil-change maintenance interval and built-in cellular connectivity for installation, diagnostics, and service support.
Model 7257 is supplied as a generator-only configuration and does not include a transfer switch. Norwall recommends the RXG16EZA1W, RXSW200A3SPD, or RXSW100A3SPD transfer switch models for this generator. The Generac 7257 is backed by a 5-Year Limited Warranty.
